Also famous shopping areas are very near. 2 minutes walk there are canal boots to experience Amsterdam from the water. Also the flower market is around the corner. If you like the red light district you have to walk 15 minutes. Every moment of the day and in every season the pleasant canals are surprising and worth while visiting.
